our story

After a year-long trip around the globe with her husband and two young kids, witnessing both breathtaking beauty and profound hardship, our founder, Daniela Young, returned home with a deeper calling.

As a board-certified genetic counselor, Daniela knew that the science of well-being was powerful but it was often missing in professional fields, especially in the fast-paced professional spaces of the Western world.

She envisioned a world where both purpose and peace could coexist in the workplace and at home, and where personal growth was just as valued as professional development.

The Onda Collective was soon born as an inspiring, science-backed educational platform and community for growth and well-being.

“We believe that when you choose your well-being, you don’t just recharge. You reconnect with yourself. You rise. And from this place of authenticity, you become an unstoppable agent of positive change.

We envision a world-wide ripple effect sparked by each person living fully and authentically. When your gifts flow unobstructed, they uplift everything and everyone around you, creating a cascade of human flourishing and a more vibrant world.

This transformation awaits. And there’s no more important time than now.”

The word “Onda” is Spanish for

vibration, wave, & ripple

It inspires us to live out our values:

be AUTHENTICALLY oneself
have the BRAVERY to follow our inner guidance
Create a ripple effect of positive change though our unique IMPACT

The mission of The Onda Collective is to blend science with creativity to help modern professionals prioritize well-being, reconnect to their potential and become powerful forces for positive change.

our approach

Wisdom.
Like any good educational platform, we hope our participants learn. However, our goal is for you to unearth your own internal wisdom rather than gaining it from external lectures.

Less is More.
To access this space, we slow down. We get quiet. We tap into flow, creativity and connectivity. We bask in the support of our team and community.

What not to expect.
Uncomfortable attire. Powerpoint after powerpoint. Shallow conversations. Feeling like you have to pretend or keep up. Ugly AC conference rooms. Returning to your life feeling more overwhelmed.

What to expect.
Cozy attire. Painting, crafting, playing in (or with) nature, breathwork, meditation, self-reflection, meaningful conversations, a deep sense of belonging, support, permission to be your authentic self, time to rest. Returning to your life feeling rejuvenated, inspired and connected.
