Can you hear it?

That quiet nudge. That inner voice.
If it’s hard to hear, try silence.
If it’s too loud, try asking it to stop shouting.

It goes by many names:
your goal.
your calling.
your dream.
your purpose.

It does not need to be grandiose. It’s brimming with joy and meaning. It aligns with your unique gifts.
And bonus—it serves the greater good.

so what is it saying?

If your first thought is “I don’t know,” I’ve got exciting news:
You do know. Your brain is just trained by millions of years of evolution to expertly hide it from your conscious mind (more on that fascinating neuroscience in an upcoming issue 😉).

Here are a few ways to draw it out. Grab a pen and paper & ask yourself:

If I could do anything, what would it be?
How have you answered this before? How do you answer it now? Do you notice a pattern?
What are my top 3 natural gifts or strengths?
You were given these for a reason.
____________________, ____________________, ____________________
What brings me overflowing joy?
What injustices or causes tug at my heart?
Your heart may be pointing to where your love is most needed.

If your dream still feels hidden, don’t worry—it’s not lost.
Return to stillness. Ask. Release.
It will come.

if you’re ready to speak your dream out loud…

you’re likely feeling both terrified and exhilarated. Yay! You’re human.
This is just the beginning. You don’t have to pack your bags and move abroad to open your dream flower shop (yet). But you can start intensely imagining it. 🌸

And yes—fear is real. But it’s not your enemy. It’s here, ostensibly to protect you from annihilation. But I have news for you - you are not going to die if you put yourself out there for love or a new job, or if you start writing the first chapter of your book, or if you finally carve out time to do your art or volunteer at that animal shelter that desperately needs your help. Go back to your pen & paper and hear your fear out. It’s likely saying one (or a combo) of the following things. Let it speak the details and write them down.

“People will judge me.”
“Leaving my comfort zone to step into the unknown is scary.”
“I might fail”
“I don’t deserve a life with more than I already have.”

now remind yourself:

“I am safe.”

and ask yourself:

Is the fear greater than the call to take just one step toward my dream?
What would the future version (5, 10, 20 years from now) of myself say to me right now?
What is the best thing that could happen?

Your purpose isn’t a destination—it’s a remembering.
A coming home.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You just need to listen.

And every time you choose to follow that inner nudge, you’re not just changing your life.
You’re changing the world.
One ōnda at a time.

So go ahead.

Dream it. Name it. Take one step.
The waves will meet you.
